Qredits Curaçao is a social lender dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized businesses on the island. For the past 8 years, the organization has provided accessible financing of up to XCG 100,000,-, combined with coaching, training, and guidance. They are not a traditional bank. Their approach is built on four pillars: professional, personal, connected, and social.
“We help entrepreneurs turn their ideas into reality,” says Richards Martina, Marketing, Training & Events Coordinator. In 2024 alone, Qredits helped create more than 600 jobs through business financing, representing almost 1% of the local workforce. Beyond funding, they guide entrepreneurs through business plans and personal coaching. “We focus on the person behind the business,” adds Business Advisor Charlotte Leer. “We want to understand who you are, what drives you, and how you handle challenges.”
One story captures their impact. A woman with no recent work experience found herself divorced and without income. She knew she could cook but had no business background. With Qredits’ support, she launched a catering business that grew successfully, paid off her loan, and later expanded. “At a traditional bank, she likely would not have received that opportunity,” Charlotte explains.
To streamline collections, Qredits uses Sentoo. When a standing order fails, they send a payment link via WhatsApp. “Clients can pay in one click, without filling in references or account numbers,” says Charlotte.
"With Sentoo, we receive payments instantly. With other methods, we often have to wait a full business day or ask for screenshots to confirm."
